ABA Retracts "Lawyer" of the Years

two posts back I note the "award" by the ABA to former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, which has now been renamed Newsmaker of the Year.

Much ado about nothing? [*]
ABA statement
New Headline

[*] Not if you read the full articles or at least review the runners-ups. In particular and Previously noted. And Deeper.

QCON: The "much ado about nothing" is over the idea that we/they are quibbling about definitions or headlines while if one reads full articles, they (the article) might be understood. If one can rely on others to jump to conclusions, one need not even get that far. But this is progress in getting lawyers to improve their reporting. Not to mention their foresight.
